Hari ini mahasiswa di Kota Makassar kembali menggelar aksi. Mereka protes atas Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat atau PPKM yang dinilai merugikan masyarakat hingga merepresi ekonomi pedagang kecil.
Mereka menuntut Presiden Republik Indonesia Joko Widodo agar membubarkan PPKM tersebut. Selain itu, mahasiswa beralmamater hijau ini juga mempertanyakan kedatangan puluhan Tenaga Kerja Asing (TKA) China masuk ke Kabupaten Bantaeng di tengah pemberlakuan PPKM.
“Kenapa pemerintah meloloskan warga asing masuk ke Indonesia padahal pemerintah menerapkan PPKM, sehingga kami menduga ada konspirasi busuk di negeri ini,” kata Yudha Jaya dalam orasinya di Tengah Jalan Masjid Raya yang diblokade, Jumat (9/7/2021),
Puluhan mahasiswa yang menggelar demonstrasi ini berasal dari Universitas Sawerigading (Unsa) Makassar yang mengatasnamakan dirinya ‘Mahasiswa Unsa Makassar Menggugat’.
Lebih lanjut, Yudha mengatakan aksi yang mereka lakukan tak lain demi kepentingan masyarakat, demi melanjutkan hidup di masa pademi saat ini.
“Anak bapak ibu makan apa jika usaha bapak ibu ditutup jam 5 (Pukul 17.00 Wita PPKM Kota Makassar) di mana tanggung jawab pemerintah, sedangkan warga asing bebas keluar masuk di Indonesia,” cerita dia dalam orasinya sambil menghadap kepada warga yang berada di sekitar lokasi aksi.
Sementara Jenderal Lapangan Iswan Kusnadi menyatakan aksi yang mereka lakukan untuk mendesak pemerintah membubarkan PPKM dan memulangkan TKA Cina dari Indonesia.
“Ini saya rasa kebijakan yang merupakan kebijakan tanda tanya besar bagi masyarakat Indonesia dan saya rasa ada kejanggalan di tengah penerapan PPKM,” ucapnya
Mahasiswa Fakultas Hukum Unsa ini juga memberikan ultimatum kepada para petinggi perguruan tinggi untuk segera menerapkan proses pembelajaran offline atau tatap muka.
“Ketika tidak diberlakukan dalam waktu 7×24 jam proses pembelajaran offline di Provinsi Sulsel maka akan terjadi pemberontakan, akan terjadi perlawanan dan gerakan yang lebih besar,” tegasnya.
