Muarojambi – Ketua DPRD Muarojambi Yuli Setya Bakti bersama Bupati Muarojambi beserta jajaran Forkominda hadiri acara peresmian Gedung Mako Polsubsektor Sungai Gelam dengan ceremony Penandatanganan Prasasti oleh Kapolda Jambi Irjen Pol. Albertus Rachmad Wibowo dan di dampingi Kapolres Muaro Jambi AKBP Ardiyanto serta Pengguntingan Pita di halaman Gedung Mako Polsubsektor Sungai Gelam.
Ketua DPRD Muaro Jambi Yuli Setya Bakti mengatakan sebagaimana diketahui bersama, bahwa jaminan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat merupakan salah satu prasyarat terselenggaranya proses pembangunan Nasional yang didukung oleh tegaknya hukum serta terbinanya kemampuan.
“Untuk mengembangkan potensi dan kekuatan masyarakat dalam mencegah, menangkal dan menanggulangi segala bentuk pelanggaran hukum dan bentuk gangguan-gangguan lainnya,” ujarnya.
Dikatakan Yuli, upaya pelaksanaan serta pemeliharaan keamanan dan ketertiban, sudah merupakan suatu kewajiban yang harus kita tingkatkan secara berkesinambungan, diantaranya melalui penyelenggaraan tugas kepolisian yang meliputi pemeliharaan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat, penegakan hukum, perlindungan, pengayoman dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat, dibantu oleh masyarakat itu sendiri serta didasari dengan menjunjung tinggi hak asasi manusia.
“Sebagaimana ditegaskan dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2002 tentang Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia. Dan sebagaimana moto Polri yaitu, Melindungi, Melayani dan Mengayomi Masyarakat,” jelas Yuli Setya Bakti. (Adv)
