Jambi – Gubernur Jambi Dr. H. Al Haris, S.Sos, MH mengemukakan, pertumbuhan konsumsi rumah tangga akan terus menjadi salah satu penopang utama pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Jambi bahkan Indonesia ke depan. Hal tersebut dikemukakan Gubernur saat menghadiri Aksi Hari Konsumen Nasional (Harkonas) dan Pasar Murah, yang diselenggrakan Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Jambi, bertempat di Depan Kantor Perindustrian dan Perdanggan Provinsi Jambi, Minggu (22/09/ 2024).
Pada kesempatan tersebut Gubernur Al Haris sangat mengapresi dan berterima kasih kepada Kepala Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Jambi beserta jajaran terkait yang menyelenggarakan acara ini, bekerja sama dan berkolaborasi dengan semua pihak terkait. “Aksi Hari Konsumen ini merupakan apresiasi kepada konsumen yang telah berkontribusi besar terhadap perekonomian daerah dan nasional, sekaligus ajakan kepada konsumen agar terus semakin kritis, teliti, dan cerdas dalam bertransaksi. Konsumen memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam perekonomian di Provinsi Jambi bahkan Indonesia,” ujar Gubernur Al Haris.
“Kita mengetahui bahwa konsumen ini adalah masyarakat yang sehari-harinya belanja yang menggunakan bermacam-macam produk-produk agro dan industri lain yang ada di Provinsi Jambi yang menjadi konsumsi rumah tangga,” sambung Gubernur Al Haris.
Dijelaskan Gubernur Al Haris, harus diakui bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Jambi masih belum begitu sempurna, karena Jambi selama ini masih ada pengaruh pertambangan batubara. “Masyarakat Jambi masih banyak tergantung dan menikmati batubara masih banyak, seperti sopir saja kurang lebih enam ribu dan pekerja di tambang-tambang dan warung-warung yang di pinggir jalan, ini sangat mempengaruhi ekonomi Jambi, disamping primadonanya perkebunan dan pertanian, sehingga pertumbuhan ekonomi kita kisaran 4,15 dibawah nasional,” jelas Gubernur Al Haris.
“Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Jambi, Ekonomi Jambi triwulan II-2024 terhadap triwulan II-2023 mengalami pertumbuhan sebesar 4,15 persen (y-on-y). Laju inflasi Provinsi Jambi secara year on year (y-on-y) pada Agustus 2024 sebesar 2,50 persen. Hal ini mencerminkan bahwa ekonomi kita bertumbuh cukup baik dan inflasi kita terkendali dengan baik pula,” lanjut Gubernur Al Haris.
Dikatakan Gubernur Al Haris, saat ini yang bisa meningkatkan perekonomian salah satunya pada sektor investasi. “Bidang investasi di Jambi, bisa kita akui kurang begitu baik, ada beberapa PSN yang kurang berjalan, contoh PSN Kemingking, yang dulu sudah ditetapkan pemerintah menjadi pusat kawasan industri, tapi kini tidak jalan,” kata Gubernur Al Haris.
Lebih lanjut Gubernur Al Haris menjelaskan, akibat penerimaan masih rendah, tentu saja konsumsi rumah tangga menjadi lemah. “Untuk itu kita harus mendorong banyaknya investasi di Provinsi Jambi agar pendapatan masyarakat meningkat juga konsumsi rumah tangga juga meningkat,” jelas Gubernur Al Haris.
“Bagi pemegang kebijakan di Provinsi Jambi agar di permudahkan yang berminat berinvestasi di Provinsi Jambi, baik itu perizinan, kalau sudah bagus investasi kita, tentu akan baik pendapatan masyarakat dan akan meningkat konsumsi rumah tangga,” lanjut Gubernur Al Haris.
“Berdasarkan data Gabungan Produsen Makanan Minuman Indonesia (GAPMMI), konsumsi merupakan pendukung bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Pada tahun 2023, realisasi pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia tercatat sebesar 5,05%. Pada tahun tersebut, kontribusi konsumsi rumah tangga mencapai 56,6% atau lebih dari separuh total Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) nasional. Pertumbuhan konsumsi rumah tangga akan terus menjadi salah satu penopang utama pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia ke depan,” imbuh Gubernur Al Haris.
Gubernur Al Haris menegaskan, Pemerintah harus hadir dalam menjamin bagi pelaku industri, usaha merasa terlindungi dengan baik dan insya Allah ekonomi akan meningkat secara berlahan. “Kita harus memberikan rasa aman bagi industri, pengusaha, kalau mereka sudah tergabung insya Allah perekonomian Jambi bisa naik,” tegas Gubernur Al Haris.
Pada kesempatan ini Gubernur Al Haris juga menyerahkan Piagam Penghargaan kepada Disperindag Kabupaten Sarolangun, Bungo, Kota Sungai Penuh dan YLKI, LPKI. Selain itu pada kesempatan ini juga diserahkan bantuan 2000 paket sembako.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Jambi Drs. H. Kemas Muhammad Fuad, M.Si dalam laporannya menyampaikan bahwa Provinsi Jambi merupakan salah satu provinsi yang terpilih oleh pemerintah pusat dalam peduli dalam perlindungan konsumen. “Kita meraih ini tidak terlepas dari bimbingan kerja keras, saran dari Bapak Gubernur Al Haris, seyogyanya kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April yang lalu, tapi baru sekarang pada bulan September ini baru bisa terlaksana, disini hadir perwakilan dari pelaku usaha, distributor, konsumen rumah tangga, serta mahasiswa dan SMA Jambi, disini kita menjelaskan bahwa konsumen itu mendapat perhatian dari pemerintah, melindungi,” ungkapnya.
“Perlindungan konsumen menjadi sangat penting karena permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh konsumen saat ini makin kompleks dan rumit, sehingga membutuhkan langkah penanganan yang tepat dan cepat.
Oleh karena itu, tugas pemerintah yaitu memastikan bahwa dalam penyelenggaraan perlindungan kepada konsumen terjaga dengan baik,” pungkasnya. (Red)
