Seorang perempuan yang bekerja sebagai Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) tewas setelah sepeda motornya bertabrakan dengan truk pengangkut air di Jalan Tritura simpang Jalan STM, Kelurahan Sukamaju, Kecamatan Medan Johor, Kota Medan, Selasa (10/8/2021). Korban bernama Farida Khairani tewas setelah mendapatkan perawatan intensif di Rumah Sakit Umum (RSU) Mitra Medika Medan. Kapolsek Delitua, Kompol Zulkifli Harahap mengatakan kecelakaan bermula saat korban yang menaiki sepeda motor Honda Beat BK 3135 AFF melintas di Jalan STM. Saat di Simpang Tritura, sepeda motor korban ditabrak truk pengangkut air dengan nomor polisi BK 9795 CG yang melintas dari arah Titi Kuning menuju Amplas.
“Truk tersebut dikemudikan oleh Edison Ginting (49) warga Desa Durin Pintu, Kecamatan Pancurbatu, Deliserdang,” kata Zulkifli, Rabu (11/8/2021). Akibat tabrakan tersebut, korban terseret sejauh 15 meter. Korban kemudian mengalami luka parah di bagian kepala belakang serta mulut dan telinga mengeluarkan darah.
“Warga yang melihat kejadian kemudian mengevakuasi korban dan melarikannya ke RSU Mitra Medika, Medan. Korban akhirnya meninggal dunia saat mendapatkan perawatan intensif,” ucapnya. Petugas Polsek Delitua yang mendapatkan laporan kemudian turun ke lokasi. Kondisi kendaraan korban rusak parah karena ditabrak truk tersebut.
“Warga yang melihat kejadian kemudian mengevakuasi korban dan melarikannya ke RSU Mitra Medika, Medan. Korban akhirnya meninggal dunia saat mendapatkan perawatan intensif,” ucapnya.
