LINTAS.CO.ID – Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur terus mempersiapkan pelaksanaan Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) Serentak 2020 yang digelar di tengah pandemi Covid-19.
Pilkada Serentak 2020 yang akan digelar di 270 Daerah , yakni termasuk 9 Provinsi, 224 kabupaten, dan 37 kota.
Masa kampanye berlangsung selama 71 hari, dimulai sejak 26 September dan berakhir pada 5 Desember 2020.
Sementara, hari pemungutan suara Pilkada dilaksanakan secara serentak pada hari Rabu, 9 Desember 2020.
Guna mencegah terjadinya penularan virus Covid-19 pada saat pelaksanaan pemilihan, salah satu yang dipersiapkan KPU adalah menerapkan protokol kesehatan di Tempat Pemungutan Suara (TPS).
Ketua KPU Tanjab Timur Nurkholis, S.IP mengungkap ada beberapa peralatan yang terkait protokol kesehatan yang akan ada di TPS guna mengurangi potensi penularan virus corona.
“Kami dari KPU menyiapkan diantaranya, tempat cuci tangan dan sabun, sarung tangan plastik masker, pelindung wajah, tempat sampah, alat pengukur suhu tubuh dan sarung tangan medis untuk petugas kelompok penyelenggara suara (KPPS) disinfektan lokasi TPS Baju Hazmat atau alat pelindung diri (APD) tinta tetes dan ruangan khusus bagi pemilih yang bersuhu tubuh badan 27,2 derajat Celcius,” kata Nurkholis.
