Selain Bupati Muaro Jambi, turut hadir Forkopimda Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Anggota DPRD Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Kepala Dinas P3AP2, Ketua Adat Melayu, Kepala Pukesmas, OPD di lingkup Pemerintah Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK, Pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Alfaqih, Camat Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu, dan Para Kepala Desa Se-Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu.
Camat Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu, Sobry, SE dalam sambutannya mengungkapkan rasa syukurnya atas peresmian desa Persiapan tersebut dan berharap pemekaran ini menjadi bentuk pelayanan masyarakat lebih baik kedepannya.
“Kami bersyukur bahwa desa ini akan segera dilauchingkan oleh ibu, dan mudah mudahan dengan semangat pemekaran ini bukan untuk pemecah belah tetapi demi untuk pelayanan kepada masyarakat lebih baik” Ucap Soberi
Bupati Muaro Jambi dalam sambutannya menambahkan agar semua pihak dapat mendorong desa hasil pemekaran ini dapat didefinitifkan sebelum dua tahun mendatang dan berterima kasih kepada masyarakat atas sumbangsih yang telah diberikan.
“Wacana ini sudah lama direncanakan oleh tokoh masyarakat, harapan saya desa persiapan ini tidak sampai dua tahun sudah dapat didefinitifkan. jadi, saya minta tolong bapak/ibu semua dapat mendukung, mendorong, kompak kita semua agar desa ini definitif. Dan saya ucapakan terima kasih kepada bapak/ibu semua atas gotong royongnya yang luar biasa” Ungkap Masnah
Proses Pemekaran desa tersebut dimulai dari usulan beberapa tokoh masyarakat serta yang menjadi dasar pemekarannya yaitu berdasarkan jumlah jiwa. Untuk Desa Kasang Tanjung Nangko berjumlah 5252 jiwa yang diambil dari 14 RT 2 Dusun sedangkan Desa Kasang Kebon Dalam berjumlah 4032 jiwa yang diambil dari 11 RT 1 dusun.
Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pembukaan tirai papan merek kantor desa Kasang Tanjung Nangko dan desa Kasang Kebon Dalam, penanda tanganan prasasti, serta pengambilan sumpah dan pelantikan oleh bupati Muaro Jambi.
Setelah melantik Pejabat Kepala Desa Kasang Tanjung Nangko (Jumadi) dan Kepala Desa Kebon Dalam (Raden Efendi), Bupati Muaro Jambi menghampiri Pameran Pemuda Kreatif yang digelar masyarakat setempat dan membeli beberapa produk UMKM hasil Desa Kasang Tanjung Nangko dan Desa Kasang Kebon Dalam Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu.
