Virgita ditangkap polisi di kampung halaman suaminya di wilayah Tirowali, Kecamatan Baraka, Kabupaten Enrekang, Jumat (2/7). Saat itu, Virgita, yang masih bersandiwara bahwa suaminya tewas dirampok, memilih ikut mengantar jenazah korban ke kampung halamannya.
Namun belakangan, sandiwara Virgita terungkap. Dia kemudian dijemput aparat Polda Papua yang berkoordinasi dengan keluarga korban.
“Kan istrinya juga ikut ngantar kan dengan salah satu saudaranya (korban) inisial S. Itulah yang koordinasi kepolisian Polda Papua, si S itu disampaikan istrinya ada di sini (di Enrekang),” ungkap Andi.
Diberitakan sebelumnya, korban Nasruddin adalah pemilik toko emas di Arso, Kabupaten Keerom, yang dibunuh pada Senin (28/6) malam di sekitar Holtekam. Saat itu korban tengah mengendarai mobil dari Jayapura kembali ke Arso bersama istrinya, Virgita.
Setelah pembunuhan terjadi, Virgita awalnya mengaku bahwa suaminya dibunuh 4 perampok yang telah melarikan diri. Namun belakangan, polisi mengungkap korban ternyata dibunuh oleh pria berinisial M, yang tak lain adalah selingkuhan Virgita.
Polisi kemudian mengungkap tabir lain dari kasus ini setelah polisi menangkap pelaku berinisial M yang ternyata selingkuhan Virgita. M ditangkap di Bandara Sentani pada Sabtu (2/7) saat akan terbang ke luar Papua.
Sedangkan dari hasil pemeriksaan, penyidik menetapkan yang bersangkutan sebagai tersangka sesuai Pasal 340 UU KUHP dengan ancaman hukuman 20 tahun penjara. (gil/dtc)
