Pihak Polres Lebak telah menetapkan SA, pengemudi mobil Avanza yang terlibat kecelakaan maut hingga menewaskan 3 orang warga di Cileles Kabupaten Lebak sebagai tersangka pada Sabtu (6/11/2021).
Kasat Lantas Polres Lebak Polda Banten AKP Kresna Ajie Perkasa menyampaikan pasca olah TKP dan pemeriksaan saksi-saksi peristiwa kecelakaan lalu lintas, penyidik menetapkan pengendara yang menyebabkan kecelakaan maut tersebut sebagai tersangka.
“Penyidik telah melakukan gelar perkara sejak terjadinya kecelakaan tersebut, penyidik juga melakukan penyitaan barang bukti kendaraan yang terlibat kecelakaan,”kata Kresna Ajie Perkasa, saat dihubungi, Senin (8/11/2021).
Selanjutnya Kresna Ajie Perkasa menjelaskan dari hasil gelar perkara diperoleh fakta-fakta hukum yang jelas untuk meningkatkan status SA sebagai tersangka.
Atas kelalain yang mengakibatkan korban meninggal dunia, SA dikenakan Pasal 310 ayat (4) dan ayat (2) UU No. 22 Tahun 2009 tentang LLAJ, setiap orang yang mengemudikan kendaraan bermotor yang karena kelalaiannya mengakibatkan kecelakan lalulintas yang mengakibatkan orang lain meninggal dunia, dipidana dengan pidana penjara paling lama 6 tahun dan atau denda paling banyak Rp. 12.000.000,-.
“Setelah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka, saudara SA dilakukan pengecekan kesehatan serta Swab Antigen dengan hasil Non Reactive dan dilakukan penahanan,”tutup Kresna Ajie Perkasa.
Diberitakan sebelumnya, kecelakaan maut terjadi di Jalan Cileles – Gunungkencana, tepatnya di Kampung Sajir, Desa Cikareo, Kecamatan Cileles, Kabupaten Lebak, Kamis (4/11/2021) lalu.
Dalam kecelakaan yang melibatkan mobil Toyota Avanza yang dikemudikan oleh SA itu, telah menyebabkan satu keluarga yang tengah mengendarai sepeda motor Honda Bear yakni IR (43), AT (42), dan RI (8) warga Sindang Resmi, Kabupaten Pandeglang meninggal di lokasi kejadian.
