Muaro Jambi – KPU Kabupaten Muaro Jambi menggelar rapat pleno terbuka untuk menetapkan calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Terpilih hasil Pilkada 2024 pada Rabu malam, (5/2/2025) malam di Shang Ratu Hotel, Kota Jambi.
Ketua KPU Muaro Jambi, Al Muttaqin, menyampaikan bahwa keputusan ini diambil setelah adanya putusan dismiss dari Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK), yang menegaskan bahwa pasangan Bambang Bayu Suseno dan Junaidi Mahir adalah Bupati dan Wakil Bupati terpilih.
Al Muttaqin juga membacakan Surat Keputusan KPU Muaro Jambi Nomor 15 Tahun 2025 tentang penetapan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Terpilih. Dalam keputusan tersebut disebutkan bahwa pasangan calon nomor urut 4, Bambang Bayu Suseno dan Junaidi Mahir, memperoleh suara sebanyak 73.367 atau 31,76 persen. Mereka akan menjabat sebagai Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Muaro Jambi untuk periode 2025-2030. “Dengan ini, kami menetapkan pasangan Bambang Bayu Suseno – Junaidi Mahir sebagai Bupati dan Wakil Bupati terpilih Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dalam Pemilihan Kepala Daerah 2024,” kata Al Muttaqin.
Setelah penetapan ini, KPU Muaro Jambi akan mengusulkan pelantikan pasangan tersebut kepada DPRD Muaro Jambi. Al Muttaqin menambahkan bahwa KPU akan segera menyerahkan surat usulan pelantikan kepada DPRD untuk mengikuti pelantikan. “Sehari setelah penetapan ini, kami akan mengirimkan surat usulan pelantikan ke DPRD Muaro Jambi untuk segera ditetapkan dan dilantik sesuai jadwal yang telah ditentukan,” ujar Al Muttaqin.
Dalam rapat pleno tersebut, pasangan calon terpilih Bambang Bayu Suseno dan Junaidi Mahir hadir langsung untuk menerima penetapan sebagai Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Muaro Jambi periode 2025-2030.
Selain itu, turut hadir dalam kesempatan ini Pj Bupati Muaro Jambi yang diwakili oleh Sekda Budhi Hartono, Kajari Muaro Jambi, Kepala Pengadilan Agama, Kepala OPD. Kemudian, Kakan Kesbangpol, Pabung 0415 Jambi, Kapolres Muaro Jambi, Pimpinan Bawaslu, Tim Sukses dan Tim Pemenangan BBS JUN Mahir, juga hadir calon bupati nomor urut 2, Zuwanda dan tamu undangan lainnya.
