JAMBI – LINTAS.CO.ID – Gubernur Jambi, Dr.Drs.H.Fachrori Umar,M.Hum, selaku Ketua Tim Gugus Tugas Penanganan Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) Provinsi Jambi sangat mengapresiasi bantuan dari Badan Musyawarah Perbankan Daerah (BMPD) Provinsi Jambi untuk penanganan Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi. Penyerahan bantuan berlangsung di Rumah Dinas Wakil Gubernur Jambi, Telanaipura, Selasa (31/3) sore.
Bantuan dari BPMD Provinsi Jambi berupa uang senilai Rp100 juta diserahkan oleh Ketua BMPD Provinsi Jambi, Bayu Martanto kepada Gubernur Jambi, dan oleh Gubernur Jambi diserahkan kepada Kepala Pelaksana Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Provinsi Jambi, Bachyuni Deliansyah, untuk dipergunakan dalam melakukan penanganan Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi.
Atensi (perhatian) dan donasi (bantuan) terus mengalir untuk penanganan Covid-19 ini. Sehari sebelumnya, Senin, 30 Maret 2020, Forum Komunikasi Industri Jasa Keuangan (FK IJK) Provinsi Jambi memberikan bantuan senilai Rp50.000.000 (limapuluh juta) kepada Gugus Tugas Penanganan Covid-19 yang juga diserahkan kepada Gubernur Jambi.
“Saya sangat mengapresiasi bantuan yang telah diberikan oleh BPMD Provinsi Jambi untuk penanganan Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi dan bantuan tersebut akan kami gunakan sebaik baiknya demi kepentingan masyarakat Jambi dalam rangka melakukan penanganan Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi,” ujar Fachrori.
Fachrori mengharapkan agar wabah Covid-19 yang telah ditetapkan oleh WHO menjadi pandemi ini cepat segera berakhir, karena dampak yang ditimbulkannya sangat besar dan mempengaruhi seluruh aktivitas masyarakat, salah satunya adalah sangat mempengaruhi aktivitas perekonomian.
Sebelumnya, Bayu menyampaikan, bantuan dari BPMD Provinsi Jambi ini merupakan suatu bentuk dukungan kepada Gugus Tugas Penanganan Covid-19 Provinsi Jambi dalam penanganan Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi. Bank-bank di Provinsi Jambi juga sudah melaksanakan kebijakan-kebijakan, baik dari Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi maupun dari Pemerintah Pusat, dalam upaya menekan dan pencegahan penyebaran Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi.
