SENGETI – Bupati Muaro Jambi Masnah Busroh, Kamis (16/4/2020), menyerahkan bantuan sembako secara simbolis kepada warga yang terkena dampak Covid-19 di Desa Mudo dan Teluk Jambi, Kecamatan Taman Rajo.
Adapun penerima sembako ini adalah warga yang terkena dampak Covid-19. Untuk seluruh Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, terdata sebanyak 17 ribu kepala keluarga yang terkena dsampak Covid-19.
“Sembako yang kita berkan berupa beras 10 kg, tepung 3 kg, serta minyak dan gula 2 kg,” ujar Masnah.
“Bantuan ini untuk meringankan beban saudara-saudara kita, khususnya warga tidak mampu yang berada dikawasan physical distancing,” kata Masnah menanambahkan.
Lebih lanjut Masnah mengatakanm di tengah pendemi Covid-19, banyak warga, khususnya pekerja harian yang mengalami penurunan pendapatan. Pemerintah daerah sendiri telah mengeluarkan kebijakan ekonomi bagi warga yang terdampak Covid-19.
“semoga bantuan ini bermanfaat dan bisa meringankan beban masyarakat di tengah pendemi Covid-19,” tegasnya.
