Merangin – Wakil Bupati (Wabup) Merangin H Mashuri, sangat mengapresiasi pemusnahan Barang Bukti (BB) narkotika, senpi rakitan dan kosmetik tanpa izin yang dilakukan Kejari Merangin, Kamis (25/6).
Pada acara yang berlangsung di pelataran Gedung Kejari Merangin tersebut, BB yang dimusnahkan sebagain besar merupakan narkotika jenis ekstasi dan ganja. Ada sekitar 46 eitem BB yang dimusnahkan.
‘’Pemusnahan BB narkotika ini, akan semakin memotifasi Pemkab Merangin dalam memerangin Narkoba dan kian mendesak kita untuk membentuk Badan Nasional Narkotika Kabupaten Merangin,’’ujar Wabup.
Pada kesempatan itu, wabup mengucapkan terimakasih kepada Kejari Merangin yang sudah bersinergi dengan penegak hukum lainnya dan Pemkab Merangin, untuk bersama-sama membasmi peredaran narkotika.
Sementara itu Kajari Merangin NyMartha Parulinaa Berliana mengatakan, Kejari Merangin akan terus berupaya, setidaknya memperkecil angka pelanggaran tindak pidana narkoba.
‘’Kita telah lakukan sosialisasi bahaya narkotika kepada para generasi muda Kabupaten Merangin lewat media radio dengan acara Jaksa Menyapa. Kita ingin generasi muda kita menghindari tindak pidana narkotika ini,’’ujar Kajari.
Diakui Kajari, peredaran narkotika di Kabupaten Merangin cukup tinggi dan perlu penanganan serius dari semua pihak. Kejari Merangin tegas Ny Martha,sangat komit terhadap penanganan tindak pidana narkotika. (gas).
