Lintas.co.id(Muaro Jambi) – Bupati Muaro Jambi Hj. Masnah Albusyro, SE menghadiri kegiatan Pesta Turun Sawah (Sedekah Payo) bertempat di Desa Simpang Limo – Sarang Burung Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota (Jaluko) , Kabupaten Muaro Jambi Kamis Pagi (11/02/2021).
Kedatangan bupati Muaro Jambi dalam Sedekah Payo yang mengusung tema Jadilah Petani Modern Agar Hasil Panen Makin Meningkat, disambut meriah oleh Masyarakat Simpang Limo – Sarang Burung dengan penampilan seni rebana dan pencat silat.
Kegiatan ini juga dihadiri oleh Kepala Desa Simpang Limo, Kepala Desa Sarang Burung, OPD di lingkup Pemerintah Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Ketua KTNA Kecamatan Jaluko, Gapoktan Desa Simpang Rimbo dan Sarang Burung, serta Kelompok Tani Desa Simpang Rimbo dan Sarang Burung.
Bupati Muaro Jambi dalam sambutannya mengatakannya untuk para OPD dilingkup Pemerintah Kabupaten ikut turut serta mendengarkan aspirasi masyarakat terhadap permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi dan mencari solusi bersama untuk masyarakat yang ada di desa.
“Saya mengharapkan bantuan dari para kepala dinas untuk mendengarkan aspirasi masyarakat di desa, dan minta tolong Bapak Kepala Dinas di catat baik-baik berkoordinasi kepala desa yang lebih mengetahui masalah desanya”
Masnah dalam sambutannya menambahkan kegiatan Sedekah Payo Turun ke Umo tetap rutin dilaksanakan karena merupakan adat istiadat serta sebagai bentuk syukur dan doa agar hasil panen yang dihasilkan lebih meningkat.
“Kebiasaan ini jangan pernah dihilangkan, karena ini adalah adat istiadat kita lama. Dan ini adalah suatu kegiatan kita berdoa agar hasil panen kita meningkat”
Acara dilanjutkan dengan pemberian bantuan kepada anak Yatim Piatu dari Desa Simpang Limo dan Desa Sarang Burung. Diakhiri dengan doa bersama serta ramah tamah makan bersama dengan para petani dan warga Kecamatan Jaluko. (red)
