JAKARTA, – Presiden Joko Widodo mengatakan Indonesia telah memiliki 75,9 juta dosis vaksin Covid-19 dalam bentuk jadi. Vaksin sebanyak ini cukup untuk diberikan kepada 37,5 juta orang.

Jokowi menambahkan, sejauh ini program vaksinasi pemerintah telah mencapai 26,9 juta dosis, 16,3 juta di antaranya menerima vaksinasi dosis pertama dan 10,6 juta jiwa dosis kedua. Sebelumnya, Menteri Kesehatan (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin mengingatkan pemerintah daerah (Pemda) untuk mempercepat program vaksinasi untuk warga lanjut usia atau lansia.
Saat ini, kata dia, pelaksanaan vaksinasi secara nasional akan tembus sebanyak 27 juta dan perharinya penyuntikkan mencapai 500 ribu. Ini disebabkan karena ketersediaan stok vaksin yang sudah mencukupi.
“Alhamdulillah bulan ini kita memiliki stok yang ada di tangan sekitar 20 juta, jadi kalau dibagi 30 hari mampu lah kita menyuntik sebanyak 500 sampai 650 ribu suntikan per hari,” kata Budi usai menghadiri rapat terbatas di Istana Negara, Jakarta, Senin (31/5).
