Muarojambi – Akhir -akhir ini kebakaran rumah kerap terjadi di kawasan Sungai Bahar group.
Kebakaran tersebut disebabkan oleh banyak faktor ada yang korsleting listrik kompor sengaja dibakar dan lain sebagainya.
Sebenarnya, jika ditangani dengan tepat tapi yang tadinya kecil tidak menjadi besar dan merambat ke bangunan lainnya. Salah satu penyebabnya keterlambatan informasi yang didapat oleh tim pemadam kebakaran yang ada di kawasan setempat.
Kendala yang dihadapi di lapangan beragam, ada masyarakat yang melapor kepada petugas pemadaman melalui nomor handphone pribadi. Namun ketika dihubungi petugas tersebut sedang tidak berada di lokasi atau tidak masuk kerja.
Dengan demikian secara otomatis dirinya kembali meneruskan ke nomor rekannya yang kerja. Atau nomor yang diberikan kepada warga sedang tidak aktif.
Secara otomatis petugas yang stand by di lapangan tidak menerima informasi dari masyarakat dan kebakaran yang tadinya bisa dicegah agar tidak merambat malah menjadi besar.
Menyikapi hal itu, anggota DPRD Kabupaten Muaro Jambi Robinson Sirait berinisiatif untuk memberikan handphone (Hp) khusus untuk petugas yang ada di markas pemadam kebakaran.
Wakil rakyat dari Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) Dapil Sungai bahari ini menyebut jika di markas pemadam kebakaran kawasan sungai Bahar memang tidak ada handphone khusus sehingga masyarakat yang ingin memberikan informasi terkadang terputus.
“Jadi ini handphone khusus untuk di markas. Nomornya hanya satu yaitu 082183375957,” kata Robinson.
Dengan nomor tersebut, masyarakat yang ingin memberikan informasi atau minta bantuan kepada pemadam kebakaran bisa langsung ditanggapi karena handphone tersebut khusus untuk di markas.
“Semoga bisa bermanfaat. Jangan dinilai dari harganya,” katanya.Pria berkacamata ini memang dekat dengan masyarakat. Selain peduli, didinya juga sering membawa program baik dari kabupaten maupun provinsi ke wilayah Sungai Bahar, seperti sarana pendidikan jalan umum dan program lainnya.(Adv)
