Jambi – Gubernur Jambi Dr. H. Al Haris, S.Sos, MH menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik di Provinsi Jambi. Pernyataan ini disampaikannya saat menghadiri Penganugerahan Predikat Kepatuhan Penyelenggaraan Pelayanan Publik di Provinsi Jambi Tahun 2024, bertempat di Hotel Aston, Kota Jambi, Selasa (3/12/2024). Hadir pada kesempatan tersebut Unsur Forkopimda Provinsi Jambi, Kepala Perwakilan Ombudsman Republik Indonesia Provinsi Jambi Saiful Roswandi, beserta Jajaran, para Kepala Daerah kabupaten/kota dalam Wilayah Provinsi Jambi serta para Penerima Penghargaan.
Dalam sambutan dan arahannya Gubernur Al Haris menyampaikan bahwa terkadang pemerintah lupa untuk mengevaluasi kinerja. “Kalau ada masalah dibawah dan ada laporan yang muncul dan temuan baru kita melakukan evaluasi dan perbaikan. Kita sering lupa bahwa kita adalah orang yang terpilih melayani publik, hari ini kita tidak bisa lagi bersembunyi dibalik kebohongan karena media sosial ini sifatnya lintas batas, dan terlihat semua dengan jelas oleh masyarakat, kita tidak bisa sembunyikan lagi, apa yang kita kerjakan semua tergambar dan tampak oleh masyarakat, apakah respon kita cepat atau lamabt dan terukur kinerjanya serta kualitas apakah masyarakat puas dalam melayani masyarakat,” ungkapnya.
Dijelaskan Gubernur Al Haris, Program Penilaian Kepatuhan Penyelenggaraan Pelayanan Publik ini menjadi barometer bagi Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi dan tentu saja seluruh instansi pemerintah maupun lembaga publik dalam wilayah Provinsi Jambi untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik, meningkatkan komitmen selaku penyelenggara pelayanan bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat agar teguh dalam mematuhi peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. “Hasil dari penilaian ini akan menjadi motivasi bagi kami untuk terus melakukan perbaikan yang berkelanjutan demi peningkatan kualitas dan mutu pelayanan sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan. Dan tentu saja sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman dan kebutuhan masyarakat, standar pelayanan publik itu harus terus kita tingkatkan, sehingga penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik sebagai amanat negara dapat benar-benar memenuhi kebutuhan dasar untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat,” jelasnya.
Gubernur Al Haris berharap bahwa sebagai penyelenggara negara, instansi pemerintah dalam wilayah Provinsi Jambi dapat meningkatkan kualitas penyelenggaraan pelayanan publiknya, melakukan kerja sesuai dan memenuhi standar pelayanan, mendorong komitmen untuk meningkatkan kompetensi penyelenggara pelayanan publik demi mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
Selain itu, dalam wawancaranya dengan awak media Gubernur Al Haris menyampaikan apresiasi dan terima kasih atas keaktifan Ombudsman Republik Indonesia dalam Penyerahan Hasil Program Penilaian Kepatuhan Penyelenggaraan Pelayanan Publik Tahun 2024 dan melakukan pendampingan dan pengawasan terhadap penyelenggaraan layanan publik, sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
“Kita mengapresiasi kerja dari Ombudsman yang telah konsisten menilai setiap kinerja dan langkah-langkah yang dilakukan oleh pemerintahan daerah, Kepolisian dan Pertanahan. Kenapa penilaian ini dilakukan, karena saat ini kita dihadapkan pada masyarakat yang membutuhkan pelayanan yang cepat tetapi bukan hanya cepat tapi juga berkualitas. Oleh karena itu kita berharap para pejabat daerah ketika menghadapi penilaian Ombudsman yang bukan hanya memberikan apresiasi kepada siapa yang hebat, tetapi juga koreksi bagi yang lemah juga,” ujar Gubernur Al Haris.
“Dan kita menyadari bahwa ada beberapa daerah yang masih belum begitu sempurna dan perlu kita evaluasi lagi agar kita ke depan bisa memberikan pelayanan terbaik bagi publik, kepada Masyarakat, karena itu adalah hak rakyat,” pungkasnya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Perwakilan Ombudsman Republik Indonesia Provinsi Jambi Saiful Roswandi mengatakan bahwa Penilaian atau Opini Pengawasan ini merupakan barometer kondisi pelayanan publik di Jambi yang tiap tahun diadakan. Namun praktiknya masih ada Organisasi Pemerintah Daerah (OPD) yang nilainya belum baik. “Kami berharap hasil Penilaian dapat meningkat, apalagi sudah disosialisasikan seperti saat ini. Kami meminta komitmen Pimpinan setiap OPD dan terutama kepala daerah agar benar-benar serius memperhatikan fasilitas dan sumber daya manusia diaspek pelayanan. Selain itu juga memprioritaskan anggaran dibidang pelayanan. Jangan sampai ada fasilitas layanan yang tidak tersedia atau SDM yang tidak kompeten,” kata Saiful Roswandi.
Saiful juga menambahkan, Fasilitas layanan, SDM yang kompeten dan anggaran yang cukup merupakan hal penting pada layanan publik. “Kami berharap pimpinan unit dan kepala daerah perhatikan kebutuhan tersebut, fasilitas yang harus diperhatikan adalah ruang tunggu dan juga toilet yang harus diperhatikan kenyamanaan dan kebersihannya,” tambahnya.
