Sungai Penuh – Gubernur Jambi Al Haris kembali melaksanakan Safari Ramadhan dengan mengunjungi Masjid Jami Kumun yang berlokasi di Kota Sungai Penuh, Rabu (5/3/2025) malam.
Dalam kegiatan tersebut, Gubernur Al Haris mengajak warga Sungai Penuh untuk kembali menjalin silaturahmi dan kekompakan setelah melewati masa Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) serentak 2024 lalu.
“Safari Ramadhan kali ini adalah momen silaturahmi kami bersama masyarakat, setelah melaksanakan Pilkada serentak 2024 alhamdulillah berjalan dengan aman dan damai. Pada momen Ramadhan ini, mari kita bersatu padu karena daerah kita ini butuh kekompakan untuk pembangunan Kota Sungai Penuh,” kata Al Haris.
Selain menjalin silaturahmi dan meningkatkan amal ibadah, bulan suci Ramadhan juga menjadi momentum memupuk rasa kepedulian terhadap sesama, terutama kepada anak-anak yatim piatu.
“Malam ini kita memberikan bantuan kepada fakir-fakir miskin, anak yatim piatu, dan orang yang membutuhkan,” imbuhnya.
Diketahui, bantuan yang diberikan oleh Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Jambi kepada Masjid Kumun seniai Rp 25 juta, dan bantuan CSR Bank 9 Jambi Rp 10 juta. (red)
