Jambi – Gubernur Jambi, Al Haris melaksanakan safari Ramadhan 1446 Hijriah di Masjid Al Aqsho, Kelurahan Ulu Gedong, Kecamatan Danau Teluk, Kota Jambi, Minggu (9/3/2025) malam.
Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada hari kesembilan Ramadhan ini turut dihadiri Wakil Wali Kota Jambi, Sekretaris Daerah Kota Jambi, dan OPD lingkup Pemprov Jambi terkait.
Dalam sambutan dan arahannya, Gubernur Al Haris mengajak masyarakat Sebrang Kota Jambi untuk mempertahankan nilai-nilai agama dan adat istiadat di tanah Pilih Pusako Betuah (julukan Kota Jambi).
Al Haris berharap, safari Ramadhan ini dapat meningkatkan silaturahim antara pemerintah dengan masyarakat.
“Mudah-mudahan bumi melayu ini identik dengan islam. Semoga kemajuan-kemajuan kedepan tidak merusak nilai-nilai seni agama dan adat istiadat di Jambi ini,” harap Al Haris.
Lebih lanjut, Al Haris menyampaikan bahwa tujuan utama ia mendirikan Islamic Center di Jambi sebagai pusat pengkajian dan pendidikan Islam.
“Kenapo sayo membuat namo Islamic Center itu dengan nama Tsamaratul Insan, kareno untuk mengenang perukunan orang tuo kito dulu. Nanti samo-samo kito hidupkan Islamic Center, sayo jugo minta lembaga-lembaga untuk menghidupkannya,” jelas Al Haris.
“Islamic Center untuk membuat kajian-kajian Al-Qur’an dan pendidikan Islam dan Masjid itu. Nanti ada pelatihan kori dan koriah, serta pengajian lansia,”lanjutnya.
Terkahir, Al Haris menekankan masyarakat Sebrang Kota Jambi untuk mempertahankan ciri khas daerah mereka dengan sebutan Kota Santri.
“Sebrang tidak boleh melupakan nilai-nilai yakni, Kota Santri,” tutupnya.
Diketahui, dalam kegiatan safari Ramadhan di Masjid Al-Aqsho Kelurahan Ulu Gedong, Kecamatan Danau Teluk, Kota Jambi. Al Haris juga memberikan santunan dan sembako bagi anak-anak yatim dan warga yang kurang mampu.
Tak hanya itu, Gubernur Jambi juga menyerahkan bantuan CSR berupa dana hibah senilai Rp 10.000.000. (Adv)
