Muaro Jambi – Gubernur Jambi Dr. H. Al Haris, S.Sos, MH mengemukakan, pengukuhan perpanjangan masa jabatan Kepala desa (Kades) Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, merupakan pengukuhan kedua setelah Bogor se-Indonesia, agar daerah lain juga mengikutinya, karena ada kepastian hukum bagi Kades yang habis masa jabatannya dan mereka nyaman dalam melaksanakan tugas, setelah jelas statusnya. Hal tersebut dikemukakan Gubernur saat menghadiri Pengukuhan Perpanjangan Masa Jabatan Kepala Desa dan Ketua Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (TP-PKK) Desa di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, bertempat di Gedung Serba Guna, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Rabu (19/06/2024).
Gubernur Al Haris mengungkapkan bahwa perjuangan para Kades ditanah air tidak sia-sia sehingga merevisi Undang-Undang masa jabatan Kepala desa. “Kades kita ini memang hebat sehingga melahirkan perubahan Undang Undang No. 6 tahun 2024 yang menjadikan masa jabatan kades menjadi 8 tahun. Allah menjadikan peluang bagi kita mengabdi kembali, gunakan waktu berkerja sebaik-baiknya, Allah mencatat semua apa saja yang kita perbuat selama menjadi Kepala desa,” ungkap Gubernur Al Haris.
Gubernur Al Haris juga berpesan kepada Kades yang dikukuhkan agar mempergunakan waktu sebaik-baiknya dalam mengabdi ditengah-tengah masyarakat, pergunakanlah dana yang ada sesuai dengan ketentuannya. “Gunakanlah Dana ADD, BKBK, sebaik-baiknya, semuanya untuk kebaikan Masyarakat,” pesan Gubernur Al Haris.
Gubernur Al Haris menjelaskan, Pemerintah Pusat, Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi, maupun Pemerintah kabupaten/kota se-Provinsi Jambi memberikan perhatian besar untuk terus mendorong keberdayaan, kemajuan, dan kemandirian desa, melalui berbagai program pembangunan yang ditujukan/dialokasikan bagi desa. “Dana Desa yang bersumber dari APBN, Alokasi Dana Desa yang bersumber dari APBD, dan berbagai program lainnya yang dialokasikan ke desa seperti BKBK (Bantuan Keuangan Bersifat Khusus dari APBD Provinsi Jambi), serta berbagai program lainnya yakni bantuan sektor pertanian dan pangan, perhutanan sosial, semuanya dalam kerangka untuk meningkatkan keberdayaan, kemajuan, dan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa,” jelas Gubernur Al Haris.
“Saya mengucapkan selamat atas pengukuhan perpanjangan masa jabatan Kepala desa dan Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK desa di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, sebagai pelaksanaan amanah Undang-Undang Nomor 3 Tahun 2024 tentang Perubahan Kedua atas Undang-Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2014 tentang desa, yakni perubahan masa jabatan Kepala desa dari 6 (enam) tahun menjadi 8 (delapan) tahun, dan masa jabatan Ketua TP PKK desa mengikuti/menyesuaikan dengan perpanjangan masa jabatan Kepala desa tersebut,” sambung Gubernur Al Haris.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut Gubernur Al Haris juga berharap Kepala desa dan Ketua TP PKK desa bisa tetap amanah melaksanakan seluruh tugas dan tanggung jawab. “Kepala desa yang dikukuhkan, agar tetap amanah melaksanakan seluruh tugas dan tanggung jawab dengan senantiasa mempedomani peraturan perundang-undangan dan regulasi yang berlaku, peka menerima berbagai aspirasi dan masukan dari masyarakat desa untuk peningkatan kualitas pembangunan desa, serta memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik bagi masyarakat desa,” harap Gubernur Al Haris.
“Seluruh Kepala desa berserta perangkatnya, maupun Ketua TP-PKK desa memiliki peran yang sangat strategis dalam meningkatkan perekonomian, kemajuan, dan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa, pun dalam meningkatkan kualitas masyarakat desa, dengan memaksimalkan pemanfaatan seluruh potensi yang dimiliki desa,” pungkas Gubernur Al Haris.
